#30DaysCleansingChallenge

The Green Wedding (surprise! :D stay tuned for more info) is round the corner and who wouldn't want to feel enchanting! It was a torpid winter when I settled to comfort food like never before. From the west to east, I had devoured all types of cuisines!



Vegan Mac n Cheese
tofu stir fried with veggies
Pad thai with noising tofu
Fusilli pasta salad
fried veggies
grilled tofu baguette
deep fried something with vegan mayo
basil penne
corn n mushroom momos
Sizzlers with friend wontons and momos

This was not even 30% of what I ate with my partner in crime Herbi! My body craved oily, hot, spicy, fried food of all kinds! Yeah obviously they were all plant-based (FYI, Vegans dont eat grass). Plant based food can be unhealhty at times. But that does not mean one should never consume such exciting dishes once in a while. I make sure to listen to my body and satisfy its needs. However, I do realise the toxins build up in my system due to irresponsible eating habits. All of these comfort foods shown above must have had loads of vegetable oil and/or hydrogenated fat that might block nutrients absorption thereby making the consumption useless for the body and adding stress to digeston. That is why I feel like a human slug and zero energy in me! Adding on, the stress from wedding preperations are giving me acne, irregular metabolic performs and heat boils (who doesn't get these anyways?). The bride does not deserve to experience so much presure, does she? That is when I decided to draw a line and create a clean path with changes in diet and lifestyle.


During this month, I will be updating a creation each day. It is not the only food I consume the whole day but the special one which can brighten up everyone's life with exciting information. There wont be any extracted oils used during this month to aide complete nutrient absorption. I am set to have fruits and veggies everyday along with this one dish that is made up to feel like healthy comfort food. End of 24 hours, I don't want to feel starved or deprived.
