I took it serious and literally went green today as part of my detox. We are talking Broccoli. I know, many of you hate it and don’t even buy them in the first place :P But, behold your negativity and read on to discover the wonders this boring green bunch can do and what we can do with it.

Half a head of a broccoli
Few cauliflower florets
1 Potato (see that heart-shaped lovevable one)
2 cloves of garlic
A small piece of ginger
Half an onion
1/3 cup soy/coconut milk
Prepper powder
Turmeric powder
Mustard seeds
Cumin seeds
Himalayan Pink salt
Dried herbs
In a huge pot, Boil some water and add all spices and the chopped veggies in.
Cook until potatoes are soft.
Cool a bit and blend well with the milk to form a puree.
Season with some pepper and dried herbs.
See! It is so simple to make cream of broccoli without the cholesterol and oil. Also this is very filling so could make a perfect meal. Eating broccoli can never be more fun. Go green by eating green!
